Esta Earring

Esta Earring

Two shining moons drip with freshwater pearls like frost drops in the night. The moon is one of the most used symbols of the Greek goddess Artemis and stands for life, femininity, intuition, and destiny.

The earrings are part of Maanesten's A/W 23 collection, Moon Hunter, a tribute to the Greek goddess Artemis. In Greek mythology, Artemis was the goddess of hunting, protector of the forests and mountains, connected to the moon, music, and the wildness of nature. She protected young women and those in labor and remained free and independent on her own path in life.

Moon Hunter interprets this legendary feminist figure as a modern Artemis, a modern-day goddess who follows her own rules, lives her truth, and explores the adventures that arise along the way. A powerful dreamer with a free heart. A queen of the night dancing in the neon light.
