The earring is part of Maanesten's A/W 23 collection, Moon Hunter, a tribute to the Greek goddess Artemis. In Greek mythology, Artemis was the goddess of hunting, protector of the forests and mountains, connected to the moon, music, and the wildness of nature. She protected young women and those in labor and remained free and independent on her own path in life.
